5x10 Tandem Axle Trailer — 3.5 Tonne
The lightest-duty option: 5-foot-wide by 10-foot-long deck rated for 3.5 tonnes. Best for light material hauling, small equipment transport (KX-018 at 1.8T, smaller attachments), landscape material, and general property hauling. The smaller footprint makes it easier to tow with a half-ton or three-quarter-ton truck and to manoeuvre in tight residential driveways.
6x12 Tandem Axle Trailer — 5 Tonne
The most versatile size: 6-foot-wide by 12-foot-long deck rated for 5 tonnes. Handles the Kubota KX-033 (3.3T), KX-018 (1.8T), U27 (2.7T), and U35 (3.5T) compact excavators for local transport, plus the KC-70 loader and other mid-weight equipment. A one-ton truck is recommended for heavier machines.
7x14 Galvanized Tandem Axle Trailer — 7 Tonne
7 feet wide by 14 feet long, rated for 7 tonnes, galvanized for corrosion resistance. Handles the SVL-70 compact track loader (3.9T), KX-040 (4.0T), and other heavier compact equipment. A one-ton diesel truck is the minimum recommended tow vehicle.
7x16 Galvanized Tandem Axle Trailer — 7 Tonne
The longest deck in the tandem axle lineup: 7 feet wide by 16 feet long, rated for 7 tonnes. The extra two feet of deck over the 7x14 provides room for longer machines, machines with extended attachments, or loads needing additional positioning flexibility. Same galvanized construction as the 7x14.
Which Size Do You Need?
5x10 for KX-018 and light loads (half-ton truck). 6x12 for KX-033, U27, U35 (one-ton truck recommended). 7x14 or 7x16 for SVL-70 and KX-040 (one-ton diesel minimum). For highway transport of any machine, a machine float trailer is the safer and more practical option.
