For jobs that realistically take under fourhours, a half-day rental is the most cost-effective option.
A full-day rental covers one complete working day from pickup to agreed return time — typically end of business day. This is our most popular rental period and covers the majority of residential and light commercial project needs. For a full day of basement excavation, landscaping, site grading, or concrete work, the full-day rate is the standard choice.
Two or more consecutive days. Multi-day rentals include automatic discounts that increase with the length of the rental — the longer you rent, the better the per-day rate. Multi-day rentals are ideal for projects that span multiple working days: larger excavation projects, basement renovation, extended sitework, or jobs where having the machine overnight between days is more practical than returning and re-booking daily.
Weekly rentals represent the best per-day value in the Rental Brothers rate structure. Security Deposits, Damage Policy, and Returns
A refundable security deposit is required for all heavy equipment rentals at Rental Brothers. The deposit is held against your credit card at pickup and released in full when the machine is returned in clean, fuelled, and undamaged condition.

Depositamounts vary by equipment category. Heavy machines — excavators, skid steers,track loaders — carry higher deposits reflecting their replacement cost. Smalltools and power equipment carry lower deposits. Fuel Policy
All diesel and gas equipment must be returned at the same fuel level as at pickup.We check fuel at both pickup and return. If the machine is returned with lessfuel than provided, the cost of refuelling is deducted from the deposit. Weprovide a fuel level reading at pickup and document it on the rental agreement.
Damage Policy
Normalwear — minor surface scuffs, bucket edge wear, track wear consistent withnormal operation — is not chargeable. Damage beyond normal wear is assessed atreturn and the cost of repair is deducted from the deposit. We document machinecondition with photos at pickup and return for every heavy equipment rental.
