Equipment Rental Brothers offers nailer rental for the London, ON area covering all five pneumatic nailer types: framing, finish, brad, floor, and crown. Each nailer is purpose-built for a specific fastening application — structural framing, interior trim, delicate moulding, hardwood flooring, or crown moulding. Available for half-day, full-day, multi-day, and weekly rentals from our Otterville, ON yard. An air compressor is required and should be added at booking.

Best For and Nailer Selection

Framing Nailer

Structural wall framing, floor and roof framing, sheathing, subfloor nailing, joist hanger work, shed and garage construction, deck framing. Uses 2-inch to 3-1/2-inch collated framing nails (16d, 10d, 8d common).

Finish Nailer (15–16 Gauge)

Door casing, baseboard, chair rail, window trim, cabinet installation, and general interior finish carpentry. Drives 1-inch to 2-1/2-inch finish nails that leave small, fillable holes.

Brad Nailer (18 Gauge)

Delicate moulding, thin trim, craft work, and light assembly where a finish nailer would split the material. Drives 5/8-inch to 2-inch brads with minimal surface marking.

Floor Nailer

Hardwood flooring installation — tongue-and-groove solid hardwood and engineered hardwood. Drives cleats or staples at the correct angle through the tongue for blind nailing.

Crown Stapler

Crown moulding, insulation board, house wrap, vapour barrier, and any application requiring a wide-crown staple for holding sheet or panel material.

Choosing the Right Nailer

Choose the framing nailer only for structural wood fastening. For door casing, baseboard, and finish trim, the finish nailer is correct. For delicate moulding, the brad nailer. For hardwood flooring, the floor nailer. For crown moulding, the crown stapler. All five nailer types are available — add any to your booking alongside the compressor.

Frequently Asked Questions
What nails does the framing nailer use?

The framing nailer drives 2-inch to 3-1/2-inch collated nails for structural wood applications. Confirm the nail collation type (clipped-head vs round-head) at booking.

Can I use a framing nailer for trim and moulding?

No — a framing nailer drives large structural nails that would split moulding and leave oversized holes in finished trim. For baseboard, casing, and interior trim, book a finish nailer (15–16 gauge) instead.

Is a compressor included with the nailer rental?

No — add an air compressor to your nailer rental booking at reservation. A compressor is required for all pneumatic nailers. Describe your expected nail rate at booking and we will recommend the correct compressor size.
